Terms and Conditions

Cancellation Policy:
Please check below in Property Cancellations for the specific terms related to your booking.

Check-In: 2:00 pm (Early or late check-in, if available, can be arranged by contacting reception 24 hours prior to arrival.)
Check-Out: 10:00 am (Late check-out, if available, can be arranged at reception for $20 per hour.)

Refundable Bookings:
Low Season: Full payment will be charged to your credit card 14 days prior to arrival. A 2% charge applies to all credit card transactions (Visa & Mastercard). Alternatively, you can make a contactless direct deposit or transfer. Our bank details are: Aegean Trust Account. BSB: 034216, A/C: 738982. Please ensure you put your surname name and date of arrival in the remittance line. Please note that all transfers must be completed prior to the due date, or we will process the card we have on file.

School Holidays – Special Events: Full payment of accommodation will be taken 30 days prior to arrival. No refund for cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival.

Non-Refundable Bookings:
The Pay NOW and Save offer is non-refundable; no changes or cancellations are possible. The full amount will be charged to your credit card at the time of booking.

All Bookings:
• A $200 valid credit card imprint and a valid driver’s license are required upon check-in.
• Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Strict ‘No Party Policy’: Failure to comply may result in eviction and loss of payments.
• We will forward a confirmation of your booking within the 48 hours of receipt of your payment.
• We cannot 100% guarantee any one particular apartment; however, we will certainly do our best to meet with your requests, priority will be given to direct bookings. Check-In Information:
Our office hours are 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (Mon-Fri), 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (Sat), 9:00 am – 11:00 am (Public Holidays). For check-ins outside these hours, please contact us 24 hours in advance.

Room Service:
We are a non-serviced resort. Stays of 8 or more nights include a mid-stay clean with fresh linen. Extra servicing available for a fee. Additional amenities can be obtained from reception.

Smoking Policy:
Aegean Apartments is a non-smoking property. As per government regulations, smoking is banned in all enclosed areas, restaurants, licensed clubs and pubs in Queensland. A $1000 AUD fee applies for additional cleaning due to smoking.

Guest Conduct:
Guests and invitees must behave responsibly. Breach of house rules may result in eviction, with charges borne by the guest. Guests are liable for any damage caused.
When a guest registers at reception, or an invitee proceeds beyond that point, they shall be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these conditions. Charges will apply for any unnecessary fire alarms from the QLD Fire and Rescue. Charges will apply for all damage caused by guests while in house.

Privacy Policy:
We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

Aegean Apartments / Resort does not have the policies, procedures or resources to accommodate the unique needs of school leavers during the annual schoolies period. In particular it does not have adequate resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of guests during this time. For this reason we reserve the right to reject bookings from school and/or university leaves for the entire schoolies period. All guests must be over 18 years and provide photo ID and credit card or cash bond of $200 per person for security.

Room Allocation:
Efforts are made to fulfill allocation requests, but room assignments are subject to availability and various restrictions.

Guest No-Show:
Guests not showing up will be charged the total price of the reservation.

Guest Refunds:
Refunds may take up to 30 days from the cancellation date to be processed and will be paid to your provided bank account.

Third Party Bookings:
Third parties must adhere to the cancellation policy specified by their booking provider.
